The five-year CAGR of 21.9% is eye-catching, and most articles stop there. The next two rows are the ones that matter for portfolio design. A 36.0% annualized volatility is roughly double a diversified equity index over the same window. A 42.5% peak-to-trough drawdown is roughly what an investor in broad equities experienced during the 2007-2009 cycle — except here it happened inside a five-year window during which the asset still compounded at 21.9%.
